An AI game for kids 7โ€“12

Your kid grows a robot. The robot teaches them AI.

Pip hatches knowing nothing. Your kid teaches it, tests it, catches its fibs and fakes, and writes prompts for real AI. Nine worlds, one little robot, all in the browser.

No kid accounts. No ads. Nothing personal asked.

How it works

Kids don't read about AI.
They build one.

1๐ŸŽ

Teach

Kids sort examples, and Pip really learns from them (nearest-neighbour learning, right in the browser). Teach it wrong, and it learns wrong.

2๐Ÿ”

Test

Pip guesses, invents fake facts, gets fooled by lopsided data. Kids catch every mistake and fix it.

3๐ŸŒฑ

Grow

Every world gives Pip a new part: an antenna, wheels, a cape, a jetpack. By world 9, Pip graduates, and so does your kid.

Try it right now

Teach Pip in 20 seconds.

This is the real thing: tap to tell Pip which snacks are fruit and which are treats. Then watch it guess snacks it has never seen, and say why. That's machine learning, and your kid just did it.

Questions

What age is Botsprout for?

Kids 7 to 12. Younger kids can turn on "read out loud" (๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ) and play with a grown-up. Older kids get the most out of Bias Bay, the Fib Factory and the Prompt Workshop.

Does my kid need an account?

No. Kids never sign up, never type their name (trainer names are rolled with a die), and their progress stays on the device. Only a grown-up makes an account, to unlock the Family plan.

Is the AI safe for kids?

Pip is told to keep answers short, kind and kid-friendly, to say when it might be wrong, and to hint rather than do homework. Before any question is sent, Botsprout checks it for emails, phone numbers, addresses, passwords and school names, and stops it on the device. Like any AI it can make mistakes, which is exactly what the game teaches kids to catch.

What happens after the free days?

The Family plan continues at the monthly price unless you cancel. Cancel anytime from your family dashboard in one click. Worlds 1 and 2 stay free forever.

Pip is waiting to hatch.

The first 2 worlds take about 15 minutes. No sign-up.
